A total of 40 students, including 3 from various medical colleges and 7 from Dhaka University,
got admission in various public universities from the meritorious students of 2018.
A total of 46 students, including 01 from various medical colleges, 03 from engineering universities and
07 from Dhaka University, got admission in various public universities from the meritorious students of 2019.
In the final round of the Anti-Drug, Eve Teasing and Anti-Militancy (Inter-District) Debate Competition
organized by the District Police, Paruara Abdul Khasru College participated along with Comilla Victoria
Government College and received the runner-up trophy and gift.
Paruara Abdul Matin Khasru College became the champion at the district level in the performance of
the national anthem with correct pronunciation.
In 2018, 2019, 2020, Paruara Abdul Matin Khosru College became the champion in Burichang Upazila
for three consecutive times in the performance of the national anthem with pure pronunciation.
The best student in Comilla district was selected as the business education student of Paruara Abdul
Matin Khosru College, Mosa Salma Akhter.
Out of 14 events at the Burichang Upazila level of the 2019 ‘Education Week’, students of Paruara
Abdul Matin Khosru College became champions in a total of 10 events, in groups ‘G’ and ‘G’.
In Nazrul Sangeet, Sanjida Islam, a student of the humanities department of Paruara Abdul
Matin Khosru College, became the champion in Setu- Comilla district and secured 2nd place in the Chittagong division.
In the Creative Talent Exploration Competition - Naeem Parvez, a student of the Science Department of
Paruara Abdul Matin Khosru College, won the Comilla district championship in the subject of
‘Mathematics and Computer’ and secured 2nd place in the Chittagong division.
In the essay competition on the topic of “Language Movement and Our Dhirendranath”,
Fahima Akhtar, a student of the Humanities Department of Paruara Abdul Matin Khosru College,
won the Comilla district championship.
In the essay competition on the topic of ‘International Mother Language Day, Heroic Freedom Fighter
Md. Rafiqul Islam’, Rukaiya Sultana Ritu, a student of the Science Department of Paruara Abdul Matin Khosru College,
won the Comilla district championship.
In the essay competition on the topic of “Protection of Consumer Rights and What We Can Do”,
Asma Akhtar, a student of Paruara Abdul Matin Khosru College, won the Burichang Upazila championship.
In 2018, the Rover Scout Group of Paruara Abdul Matin Khosru College secured third place
among 34 colleges in the ‘7th Rover Mood’ camp in Comilla district.
In the 2019 inter-college swimming competition, ‘Single Relay’, Md. Fayezur Rahman Shihab,
a business education student of Paruara Abdul Matin Khosru College secured third place.
Based on the results of the 2018 Higher Secondary Examination, Maryam Akhter, a student of the Humanities Department
of Paruara Abdul Matin Khosru College, received the only talent pool scholarshipfrom the Secondary and Higher Secondary
Education Board, Comilla. She is currently studying in the Law Department at the University of Dhaka.
Based on the results of the 2019 Higher Secondary Examination, Salma Akhter, a business education student of
Paruara Abdul Matin Khosru College (the best student in Comilla district), received the talent pool from the
Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Comilla (1st place); Lima Akhter received a scholarship in
Talent Pool (3rd place). Currently, Salma Akhter is studying BBA Marketing at Dhaka University and Lima Akhter
is studying BBA Management at the same university.
Based on the results of the 2019 HSC examination, a total of 56 students including 13 from the Science Department,
23 from the Humanities Department, and 20 from the Business Education Department of Paruara Abdul Matin Khosru College
of the Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Comilla received scholarships.
